Temperature: 155 – 175ºF
Humidity: 10 – 15% (dry heat)
Maximum use per sitting: 5-15 minutes
Maximum use per day: 30 minutes
- Sauna users must be at least 18 years old; an adult must accompany those 13-17 years of age and maintain adult supervision at all times.
- Take a warm shower before using the sauna and enter wet (wet hair if possible).
- Out of courtesy to others and for your own protection, users are required to wear a bathing suit or clean gym clothing.
- The sauna is an electrical appliance; therefore do not place newspapers, towels or any combustible material on the heater or guard fence.
- Pregnant women should not enter the sauna without prior medical consultation. Use of sauna is not recommended for persons with high blood pressure, cardiovascular disorders or pulmonary diseases.
- Do not use the sauna while under the influence of any type of alcohol, drugs, anticoagulants, antihistamines, vasoconstrictors, vasodilators, stimulants, hypnotics, narcotics or tranquilizers.
- All metal jewelry should be removed prior to entering the sauna.
- To prevent dehydration, drink plenty of fluids before entering and after leaving the sauna.
Out of concern for everyone’s health, safety and comfort, please:
- Sprinkle only small amounts of fresh water on the rocks. Do not spit, urinate, wring-out clothes, or use oils, scents, herbs or other plant material. (Water spilled on the floor should be cleaned up immediately.)
- Dim the lights no lower than the level indicated by the red line on the light switch. Do not tamper with the switch, bulbs or bulb covers.
- Remain in the sauna for no longer than 15 minutes. Those feeling dizzy or faint should leave the sauna immediately, and consult a physician before returning.
- Do not exercise in the sauna.
- Refrain from noisy and/or indecorous behavior and using provocative language.
- Sitting on a towel is recommended.
