membership

The YW has something for everyone: rec memberships include fitness center, pool, gym, racquetball, aerobic classes, and lots more. Several membership levels are available as well as day passes and financial aid.

sports & fitness

Have fun, get fit: exercise in our state-of-the-art fitness center, grab a racquet and head into the racquetball courts, join a game of pick-up basketball, or check-out one of several fitness classes!

aquatics

The only indoor pool in Adams County open to the public. Join a team, learn to swim, get fit, or just have fun.

child care

Structured, loving, safe & educational; enroll your child in the YWCA child care program that best fits your needs. We’re the largest provider in Adams County.

community outreach

The YWCA offers programs that encourage discussion about racial justice and appreciation for the diversity in our community, and provide women and girls opportunities for economic advancement.

road scholar

The YWCA has been the sponsored site for Road Scholar program for over 15 years. Find out how you too can be a part of Adventures in Lifelong Learning.

Single Parents

Our Single Parent Support Group is open to both mothers and fathers trying to provide a nurturing and healthy upbringing to their children on their own. We meet the third Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. We open with the opportunity to have dinner together – kids and parents – in the Community Rooms of the YWCA. This allows some time to socialize as a group.

After dinner, children are required to attend our “Temporary Loving Care” program. This program is free of charge for members of the SPSG, but requires 24-hour advance reservation by calling 334-9171, extension 142.

Meetings include special speakers, discussions on nutrition and parenting techniques, fitness classes, and an opportunity to meet and share with other single parents. YWCA membership is not required.
