membership

The YW has something for everyone: rec memberships include fitness center, pool, gym, racquetball, aerobic classes, and lots more. Several membership levels are available as well as day passes and financial aid.

sports & fitness

Have fun, get fit: exercise in our state-of-the-art fitness center, grab a racquet and head into the racquetball courts, join a game of pick-up basketball, or check-out one of several fitness classes!

aquatics

The only indoor pool in Adams County open to the public. Join a team, learn to swim, get fit, or just have fun.

child care

Structured, loving, safe & educational; enroll your child in the YWCA child care program that best fits your needs. We’re the largest provider in Adams County.

community outreach

The YWCA offers programs that encourage discussion about racial justice and appreciation for the diversity in our community, and provide women and girls opportunities for economic advancement.

road scholar

The YWCA has been the sponsored site for Road Scholar program for over 15 years. Find out how you too can be a part of Adventures in Lifelong Learning.

AARP Driver Safety Program

Wednesday, Thursday, Nov. 16 and 17 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 15 (4hr. refresher) 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Thursday, Jan. 18 and 19 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 16 (4 hr. refresher) 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

AARP Driver Safety Programs are offered at the YWCA. These classes are for drivers 50 and older. The course explains the changes that occur in vision, hearing and reaction time as we age and provides useful safety tips for handling these changes. The two-day class is required for first-time attendees. Call the Adams County Office for Aging at 334-9296 to register.

Program Fee: AARP members $12 Non members $14

All fees are paid directly to AARP, YWCA does not receive compensation
