membership

The YW has something for everyone: rec memberships include fitness center, pool, gym, racquetball, aerobic classes, and lots more. Several membership levels are available as well as day passes and financial aid.

sports & fitness

Have fun, get fit: exercise in our state-of-the-art fitness center, grab a racquet and head into the racquetball courts, join a game of pick-up basketball, or check-out one of several fitness classes!

aquatics

The only indoor pool in Adams County open to the public. Join a team, learn to swim, get fit, or just have fun.

child care

Structured, loving, safe & educational; enroll your child in the YWCA child care program that best fits your needs. We’re the largest provider in Adams County.

community outreach

The YWCA offers programs that encourage discussion about racial justice and appreciation for the diversity in our community, and provide women and girls opportunities for economic advancement.

road scholar

The YWCA has been the sponsored site for Road Scholar program for over 15 years. Find out how you too can be a part of Adventures in Lifelong Learning.

Community Outreach

The YWCA Gettysburg & Adams County is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.

To do this, we offer a variety of programs that encourage appreciation for the diversity in our community, empower young women to explore male-dominated career fields and become financially independent, and help everyone in Adams County learn and grow.
