March Around the World
6-8 p.m. Our first cultural event of 2012 will explore the varied ways in which cultures celebrate the changes of season in March: spring in the northern hemisphere and fall in the southern hemisphere.
Women in History Essay Contest Awards
7 p.m. Awards will be presented to the first-, second- and third-place winners in each grade. Deb McCauslin will present the story of Elsie Singmaster (1878-1958), an advocate for women’s education. Light refreshments will be served and the public is invited to attend.
