Financial Aid Help
Our financial aid program is currently undergoing revision. Our funds for the fiscal year July, 2009 – June, 2010 are depleted.
We anticipate the program will reopen mid July. Watch this site or call the YW service desk for further details closer to that time. When open, applications for this program will be available online and at the service desk.
YWCA Shark Swim Team
Registration for the Fall/Winter Swim Team season will be September 20-23rd from 6:00PM-8:00PM in the lobby of the YWCA Gettysburg, PA.
Swim Team parents will be there to hand out important information, order forms and answer any questions about swim team.
Any registration after September 23rd can take place at the front desk of the YWCA and a swim team parent will contact you to provide you with all necessary information about the team. There will be no registrations accepted after October 8, 2010.
One Week Trial Period will be held October 4-8 for a $25 non-refundable fee. Those who choose to join the team will have the $25 applied to their registration fee. Any child between the ages of 5-17 is welcomed to join. The swimmer must be able to swim the length of our 25 meter pool back and forth one time on their own without stopping.
Practices will begin October 4th.
You must be registered prior to attending the first day of practice.
All swimmers between the ages of 9-11, who are new to the team will begin at Level One and swimmers ages 12-15, who are new to the team will begin at Level Two. The swim coaches will notify the swimmers and their parents if they should be placed in another level due to their swimming ability.
