Meet our Massage Therapists

Susan Cann, LMT

Entering into her sixth year as a YWCA massage therapist, Susan maintains a vibrant and thriving practice. She uses a practical and intuitive approach to develop a personalized treatment plan for each client, each session. Susan’s background in exercise, yoga and meditation informs and enhances her technique to coincide with the goals of her client. Susan practices Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, elements of myofascial release, PNF stretching, craniosacral therapy and relaxation.

Rosalind Flickinger, LMT

Rosalind graduated from Pennsylvania Myotherapy Institute in 2007 with more than 725 hours of study and practice. Her goal is to personalize therapeutic massage sessions for each client’s needs and wants. Rosalind specializes in deep tissue work and has taken classes for upper and lower-body myofascial release to enhance the effects and longevity of massage alone. She also offers a signature 90-minute massage that includes warm stone placement along the spine, hands and feet for extra relaxation, and a facial and scalp massage, finished with warm towels. This allows time for the deep work needed and the pampering deserved.

Kara Crumbacker, LMT

Kara graduated from the Central Pennsylvania School of Massage’s 1080 hour massage therapy training in 2001. Kara is a licensed massage therapist through the state of Pennsylvania, certified through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, and a member of the American Massage and Bodywork Association. She specializes in Swedish, therapeutic, prenatal massage, and intuitive subtle energy healing. One of the things Kara loves the most about massage and teaching yoga is that everyone leaves feeling more balanced and relaxed than when they came in.

Michelah Wilson, Certified Level 3 Reiki Practitioner

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. Reiki treats the whole person creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation, feelings of peace, security and well-being.
